Looking for some birds to add to your flock? These two girls came from a home with over 20 other Parakeets, so they are more used to having parakeets as friends more than people. They are looking for a home with other parakeets to hang out with, while they are still young, they have proven to not want to be super social with people. They've been in foster care for the past 2 months, where they have been exposed to dogs, cats and kids - for the most part they ignore them all - but the ones that they really love in foster, are the other birds. They sing and chat with them all day long, making the house sound like an orchestra throughout the day. Their favorite activity of the day is darting passed their foster mom to fly around a room, their least favorite activity - being caught to go back in. If you are looking for some parakeets to be friends with yours, these ladies are the ones for you. If you are looking for parakeets who want to socialize with people, skip passed these girls for different ones. Adoption fee for one parakeet is $25, each additional adopted at the same time has a discounted adoption fee of $20. Are you looking for a beautiful sweet new friend? Do you like your pets to be musically inclined? Well then a parakeet like me may be just the critter for you! Let me tell you more about us. We should get out-of-cage time every day to stretch our wings and relieve boredom. Please give us plenty of toys, swings, and perches, and then sit back and watch for hours of entertainment! We should be fed a variety of pellets, seeds, and fresh veggies & fruits. Housing requirements: Most housing sold at pet stores is too small for small pets. They are going to be spending most of their lives inside their cage; your housing must be as large as the below or larger (bigger is always better!) in order to adopt this pet.- For 3 parakeets, 31" wide x 21" deep x 35" high, however the bigger the cage the happier the birds- Bar spacing no wider than half an inch Got a single at home you're looking for a friend for? - A new friend will need a separate cage until friendship has been established- Parakeets are relatively easy to introduce to one another, as long as there is sufficient space If you're ready to adopt within the next 24-48 hours and want to learn more about, meet, or adopt this pet, you can start the process by completing ALL of the following steps:1.
